IPD Approach
We start by understanding the nature of the problem. Every individual or family is unique and presents a different combination of symptoms, life circumstances, family histories, strengths, and difficulties. By conducting a comprehensive evaluation we try to understand the entire person – their relationships, work life, lifestyle, values – for these factors also influence mental health and psychological adjustment. The initial evaluation provides the clinician with the information needed to recommend the most appropriate treatment. Once the nature of your problems is understood, a treatment plan will likely be recommended. We encourage you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about the treatment that is recommended for you.

It is our belief that the pain and suffering of emotional distress can damage the quality of an individual’s life, family, and marital relations. We believe that with effective treatment an individual can regain, or attain for the first time, a vastly improved quality of life.

We have therapists trained in: Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Hypnosis, Medical Evaluation, DBT, Psychiatric and Neuropsychiatric Evaluations. We have a senior level psychiatrist with 20 + years experience to offer second opinions on individuals who are not getting better.
