Marie DeBartolo, FNP, Nurse Practitioner

“I believe providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to individualized care is integral to effective treatment. A genuine, honest and trusting foundation is the basis for providing optimal care, particularly in the psychiatric setting. I incorporate my past clinical experiences and education to be your partner in healing.”

Marie was raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago as part of a large family. Her childhood dream was to become a nurse.  Upon receiving her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, Marie embarked on a diverse nursing career. She worked as an RN in Neonatal ICU, Adult Medical/Surgical ICU, Asthma Allergy, and Cardiovascular Research settings.

In 2011, Marie obtained her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Illinois University, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She is ANCC board certified.  Before joining IPD, Marie worked as a nurse practitioner in an urgent care clinic and as a primary care provider.

Marie is the proud mother of four adult children. She enjoys golf, swimming, and sailing. A true xenophile, she is fascinated by foreign cultures and looks forward to future travels.
