Joyce Azzaline, Clinical Nurse Specialist

Joyce earned a masters in adult psychiatric nursing as a clinical nurse specialist from St. Xavier University in 1985, a masters in health services/health promotion from California College for Health Sciences in 2000, and a doctorate in health science from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. She has been practicing psychiatric/mental health nursing in clinical and academic settings for 30 years. Her specialties include chronic mental illness, the elderly, anxiety disorders and depression. She is an advanced practice nurse, board certified. She realizes that recovery from mental illness is a day by day process and everyone’s lives can be improved. She also assists people to achieve better relationships by helping them improve their communication.
