I enjoy working with children and adolescents and believe that timely interventions can change the trajectories of their lives. My interest include anxiety disorders in children, depressive disorders in children, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, sleep problems in children and problems in really young kids – 0 to 5 y/o age. Additionally, I treat children with severe mood dysregulation, autism and eating disorder who need careful evaluation and medications.
I am currently seeing adults of all ages in my practice. I particularly enjoy working with emerging adults and young adults. Additionally, I am interested in treating women with mental health issues.
I tend to have a three prong approach towards treatment: Medications + Psychotherapy + Holistic approach (Supplements, Ayurveda, Yogic breathing exercises, Meditation/Mindfulness), as appropriate and not in that particular order. I also like to collaborate with others (physicians, therapists, school, family members), with clients’ permission, to improve diagnostic and treatment efficacy.
