Darcy Fisher, FNP

Darcy is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of nursing experience. She attended Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She spent her entire nursing career at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she worked on a medical/surgical/transplant unit. She has experience caring for acutely and chronically ill children with diagnoses ranging from gastroenteritis to post-appendectomy patients to post-solid organ transplant patients. While employed as a registered nurse, she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Illinois University. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is excited to carry her nursing knowledge into the role of nurse practitioner and to continue to provide high quality care to the patients and families she cares for. Her passion lies in pediatrics, and she is to provide care the primary care realm and to have the opportunity to educate children and their families as well as support their developmental needs. Her clinical interests include the care of well and chronically ill children, developmental disorders, and behavioral pediatrics. She is looking forward to working with her patients and families to help them meet their health needs.
