The Institute for Personal Development provides state of the art care to people suffering from mental health issues, psychiatric contidions and individuals who just want to grow and become heathier in their approach to life. Founded by Dr. Ronald Wuest MD, in 1991, the Institute for Personal Development has grown to one of the most reputable and largest private clinics in the country. Our goal is to assist with alleviating emotional pain and suffering for individuals, families and communities. Our plan for treatment is to improve each individual’s quality of life.
About Dr. Wuest
Dr. Wuest is the founder and Medical Director of the Institute for Personal Development, founded in 1991. Dr. Wuest received his M.D. from Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Loyola University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Wuest is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Loyola Medical Center. Dr. Wuest currently serves the Medical Director and CEO of the Insittute for Personal Development and as a Psychiatric Consultant to Morris Hospital for over 22 years In addition, Dr. Wuest runs the Psychiatric Consultation Laison Division at Rush Copley Medical Center and Meridian Medical Associates. As a Senior Level Psychiatrist with over 27 years experience, Dr. Wuest specializes in treating individuals who are not getting better from current treatment or difficult to treat conditions.
To provide both state of the art, cost effective and accessible psychiatric and mental health services and provide a wonderful patient experience to individuals in the midwest region of the United States.
